CESA is Complete — And We Want to Hear From You

After years of research, writing, revision, and refinement, I'm proud to announce that CESA — the Colorado Economic Security & AI Workforce Transition Act — is complete.

All 351 pages of it.

This isn't a campaign promise. This isn't a vision statement. This is actual legislation, ready to be introduced on Day One if you send me to the State House.

What is CESA?

CESA is built on four pillars that work together to provide real economic security for Colorado families:

Care Without Fear — Universal healthcare for every Coloradan. No copays. No deductibles. No medical bills. Coverage whether you're employed or not. For a family earning $70,000, you'd pay about $3,100 per year instead of the $13,700+ you're paying now. That's $10,600 back in your pocket.

AI Worker Protection — When technology replaces your job, you shouldn't lose everything. Under CESA, if a company uses AI to replace your position, they pay you 50% of your salary for life. And here's the part that surprises people: you can work a new job AND keep those AI payments. Businesses still save money. Workers still have security. Everyone wins.

Life Security Program — State-run life insurance that costs 50-75% less than private insurance. No health questions. Cannot be denied. Benefits from $50,000 to $1.25 million. Life insurance shouldn't be a luxury. In Colorado, it won't be.

Healthy Food Policy — Healthy food becomes tax-free or subsidized. Free healthy school meals. Prevention costs less than treatment, and healthier Coloradans mean lower healthcare costs for everyone.

Why 351 Pages?

Because details matter.

Because "I'll figure it out when I get there" isn't a plan.

Because the forces reshaping our economy — AI, federal dysfunction, healthcare costs, economic insecurity — aren't waiting for politicians to catch up.

Other candidates offer promises. I'm offering work product. The research is done. The numbers are run. The legal frameworks are built. The TABOR compliance is addressed. The phased implementation is mapped out.

But I Also Know 351 Pages is a Lot

That's why I created an 8-page Campaign Summary that covers the essentials. Same legislation. Same vision. Just the highlights for those who want to understand what CESA does without reading a full bill.

Whether you want the deep dive or the overview, both are available at votemaveriq.com/CESA.

We Want Your Feedback

This legislation isn't meant to sit in a vacuum. CESA has evolved through years of feedback because I've listened — to policy experts, to voters, to critics, to anyone willing to engage in good faith.

Here's what I'm asking:

Read it. Whether that's the 8-page summary or the full 351-page bill, take a look.

Think about it. How would this affect your family? Your business? Your community?

Tell me what you think. What works? What concerns you? What questions do you have?

You can reach me at contact@votemaveriq.com or (970) 725-6656. I read every message.

This is How Democracy Should Work

Candidates should show their work. Voters should know exactly what they're voting for. Legislation should be written before Election Day, not after.

That's what I believe. That's what CESA represents.

It doesn't matter where you started. What matters is where you finish and the journey along the way.

Let's build Colorado's future together.
